〔中央社〕英國貿易文化辦事處今天宣布，從2009年3月3日起，台灣護照持有人以旅遊、探親、學生或商務訪客身分赴英國停留期限不超過6個月，可享免簽證入境。

辦事處並指出，台灣護照持有人若計劃在英國停留超過6個月、定居、工作、結婚或者就讀超過6個月以上的課程，則需依照既有規定申請簽證。
